Immigration

Whether you seek immigration help for an individual, a family or a business, we are able to assist you in working toward your goals. We serve clients both inside and outside the United States. The following are among the areas of immigration law the firm handles:

FAMILY-BASED IMMIGRATION

Are you or a family member seeking to immigrate to the United States based upon a family relationship or future or current marriage? We can assist you in seeking lawful permanent residence and uniting or reuniting with your family. Typically, the process is simple and USCIS will make their determination based upon evidence of the relationship or, in the case of marriage-based applications, upon an interview of the married persons. Additionally, the immigrant will need to be able to prove that either he or she will be supported upon arrival in the United States, either by him or herself, the petitioner, or their family members. We can guide you through the process, step by step, and assist you in providing USCIS with the information they would need to adjudicate your petition or application.

EMPLOYMENT-BASED IMMIGRATION

The United States has a number of employment-based programs for both immigrants and non-immigrants, including H-1B, H-2B, PERM, and others. These cases frequently require applications or petitions to both USCIS and the US Department of Labor. If you are interested in pursuing one of these options for yourself or an employee of your business or organization, give us a call.

INVESTOR IMMIGRATION (EB-5 Program)

There is a little-known visa program for immigration to the United States which is not based on any family relationship, and which is not tied directly to the immigrant’s employment. Instead, it is tied to an investment in a job-producing or job-saving enterprise of at least a million dollars ($1,000,000.00), or, in some cases, as little as five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000.00). The investment must be made using funds that were legally sourced, and can be traced back to a legal source. The process is complicated, and highly technical, and an attorney is almost always advisable. If you’re interested in pursuing such an investment and visa, please give us a call today.
